People may not be able to travel due to Covid 19, but poems can. I was just re-reading the excellent site, 'Write Where We are Now', created by Carol Ann Duffy at the Writing School, MMU. It collects together a community of poems from locked-down people around the world... poets like the wonderful Grace Nichols in Sussex, and David Tait in Shanghai, who shares his chilling poem, 'Candles'.
And if you want to hear a poem, so full of wisdom, it has all the physical tenderness of a touch, here is a poem by the late John O’Donohue, shared widely now, thanks to Fergal Keene.
Stay safe.
