Count Down to Empathy Day, Thursday 10th June 2021

I was thrilled that 'Belonging Street' was selected by their judges for inclusion in the Empathy Lab 2021 Read for Empathy collection.

They are a really innovative project, supporting and inspiring children, teachers and the wider community to develop and celebrate the power of empathy - especially through reading.

Empathy Day this year is Thursday, 10th June, and they have tons of free resources for teachers, plus live events. Check it out HERE. I will be particularly looking forward to their live panel event, with authors Michael Rosen, Catherine Johnson and David Baddiel, alongside psychologist Professor Robin Banerjee.
